What you are advocating that non contributors should have influence in government. The Church wants others to pay for whatever draconian law that they want to impose for their own benefit.  Paying taxes is not inhibiting people¨s freedom to exercise their religion. There is no taxation on prayers, and conversations with your imaginary friend, is it? What many RW Christians are advocating is that government shall not regulate religion (christianity specific, and ban others) and let christianity have influence on government. And now you are saying that being active for a political party is about freedom of religion, and that propagating policies should go tax exempt while they are raking on money to buy politicians for? Your false equivalence that politic speech against churches are not prosecuted. Why should it?`People who speak up against Christian tyranny already pay their taxes,.,  People like Benny Hinn, Pat Robertson, the  Crouches, the scientologists,  and other scam artists who collects hundreds of thousands of dollars from gullible idiots each week is milking they system, and want more, absolute power and want others to pay for it.  Their agenda is the same today as it was around the time of Nicea 325 - absolute power, and oppression of life, liberty and pursuit of happiness. And to suppress knowledge and science and replace it with biblical ignorance, fear, and bigotry.
