Evangelism is on the rise in Central Africa. South America still live under the ilk of Catholicism. However, Uruguay has an Atheist president who legalized weed, and gives 90% of his salary to charity.... If more countries there could follow Uruguays example...

itachimadra Because of his actions and non affliction to religion makes him better. In reality he is a lot more "Christ like" than the more luxurious church leaders who's never done squat for his fellow man, but has made it into a career scamming people with religion. Regarding the education of weed - I'm all ready on it my part of this world...

itachimadra Did you not understand what I was trying to communicate with you? I said it was his actions that made him a better person than most religious people, the gullible morons giving their social security check to their televangelist instead off buying food..As an atheist, he would not be morally mandated to do what baby Jesus told his disciples to do. Now, most Christians don't give a flying fuck about other people. HE DOES! Another thing, is that religious people claim Atheists have no morals. Yet this man seem to be more moral than all Christians I have met combined. Not because he is an Atheist (though being an Atheist after being brought up in a Christian context) makes you more reflective than most religious people who use certain segments of their doctrine as a crutch and convenience instead of having to think for themselves...

itachimadra Do they give up 90% of their wages to give to the poor? And by what do you mean "devoted Christians"... Whom are Christian and does not claim to be devoted to their faith in worshiping their zombie savior and his psychopathic dad who kill people every chance he gets for them using their free will? I'm an Atheist. I have seen war, I have been rich, I have been poor. I thought I have experienced "love", I have been alone, homeless and had my own house. This is only the last 20 years. I have seen the dark sides of society. And when having the chance, I have done more for other poor than most Christians I have met. And I'm not even bound by their alleged exclusivity on "goodness".. I do it because it's the right thing to do. Because I have been there myself. Which is more than I can say for Christians who called the cops because they saw a homeless guy outside their church which in reality was a statue. The Christians with the loudest voices scream about things completely irrelevant to their salvation or their faith: abortion and sexuality. And off course the defense of Capitalism as a Christian system of government and economy... Shelters shouldn't be built in the honor of some deity. It's like giving these deities the credit for something they have no personal influence on, since they don't exist. Do it because it's the right thing to do, and it makes you feel good. The next time you see a homeless guy, give him 5 quid, and buy him a meal. And don't give any invisible man in the sky the credit for the good deed you will do right there and then...
