  2. I have worked for ten years in IT for multinational corporations. There is no way anyone has ever done 8 hours of non-stop work during one day. Take a look at Office Space and you'll see a bit more realistic version of how much work one actually do when not bothered by idiot customers. Besides, everyone is entitled to a certain amount of breaks throughout the day,. One coffee break before lunch and one after. What one do on those breaks is entirely ones own business.

  3. When I "worked" for HP in Ireland, there were people on the outside lighting up a joint FFS.. Several of my collegues wouid bake while walking to work every day. But I agree with you. Take away the 10 minutes from a smoker, and they will get some real bad attitudes around.
