It also promotes, no, imposes conformism. And blind faith in authority. And forget freedom of religion. But do you really want to replace "common welfare" and the Constitution with Leviticus, or with the 285 Rules of Acquisition?

Imposed prayer in the schools goes not only directly against what your precious Jebus spoke, but it's also a violation of the 1st Amendment. Top of irony, is that you fundies insist on printing "In God we Trust" on your bloody money. As if money and wealth was something your saviour condoned in his sermons.

  21. ***** Haven't read that book. I have only read The Picture of Dorian Gray, some of his essays and poems. Had a collection of his works when living in Belfast. Got lost under a breakup with my ex. fiance. She probably has given it away that c¤%t. I was never impressed by his writings. The only thing I admire about his writings are his analogies and short word smitting. His essays and novel was not up my taste. Also, Dubliners were and are famous for taking down their upper class twits and their famous writers from their pedestals. That includes Oswar Wilde. Go for George Bernard Shaw, or Patrick Kavanagh instead. And I doubt that there were any progressive freethinker in the late 1800s advocating book burnings. If any, book burnings has always been a conservative, reactionary venture.
