6 drinks is nothing. 6 pints of Guinness is quite normal after work if you work for a multinational corporation anywhere on the emerald island. Writers are busy working on fucking up their liver. Drank 6 pints of Guinness, a pint of whisky and 2.5 bottles of wine during one session. I was writing the story "Birds, the Bees and a Bottle of Whisky". It was in Belfast.
