Cont. Taxes today is all about social justice and an even playing field. OR at least it should be.Something that the RWers shun. Because they are greedy, selfish vultures whom are using religion to scare gullible idiots to do their bidding. Taxes today goes to corporate welfare and "incentives" for the oil companies to drill and spill in your back yard. I think you have misunderstood "capitalism" and treat the word in the same way as the commies treated the word "communism" 30 years ago.

If you believe that Jesus was a capitalist, thinking I don't know anything about "capitalism",

@AliceInWonderlandSyn After my own studies, I can not recall Jesus wanting a "smaller government" or a "freemarket system". Fact is that the only concern he had about government was "give to the emperor that belongs to the emperor, give ontu God what belonggs to God". Fact is that they were more free regarding small trade than today. Fact is that taxes in those days went to the 1% and the rulers whom spent this on wars and suppression.

Cont.2 You dwell too much on failed economic philosphies, and that will be your downfall. When you go at each others throats, and your civil war is coming, I'm gonna sit with a bowl of pop corn, beer, and a bong and wathc all of you die for some fucked up system you have way too much blind faith in.

@TonPappa so your cousins think that baby Jesus was a "freemarket" capitalists, whom hated the poor and the sick for being beggars and freeloaders under the thumb of the Roman empire?
