I think itæs got more to do about the US embargo and the fall of Soviet. Got something ton do with trade partners. If USA would not have embargoed Cuba, the island maight have been thriving today. Socialism/communism/capitalistic models have got nothing to do with human rights. Tehy are merely economical systems. One can have full democarcy in a socialist country, and live under tyranny in a capitalist country. Anyone dare calling China socialist or communist today? No! It's capitalist!
