  1. adder2204 WMDs aside, I see plenty similarities between the American empire, and the Roman empire. Rigging elections, illegal wars and corruption are clear signs of an empire in decline. And there will be no invasion from another country. USA will implode. Just look at the Missouri town that has now become a war zone.  Or how the cops went ballistic on OWS after they received 4 million dollars from Jamie Dimond. It's a paradox that many here sees artists with white flags as a bigger threat than the likes of armed lunatics like Cliven Bundy and Ted Nugent, corrupt politicians, sadistic cops who's been militarized, and an MSM who's become the microphones for the establishment.

  2. "Americans will not surrender to anyone". Famous last words. Remember Rome? It too had its downfall due to the exact same attitude. You better realize it sooner than later son: Your democracy experiment was fun while it lasted. Now, your country is no longer "by the people for the people". Your country has become an oligarchy by corporations for corporations. And you don't mean shit until they want your vote, or plain buy an election, or rig the system in other ways....

  3. adder2204 Walmart is an excellent example on how the corporate mono-culture is spreading like a plague. Often through wars in the name of some "noble cause". Like "the war on terror", or "the war on drugs", or "fight against Communism", etc. Although Walmart has not conquered Scandinavia or Britain, or any other place in Europe, we do have Coca Cola, Hollywood, McDonald's' and now very soon Domino's. Walmart has conquered the cheap labor market like so many other corporations in East Asia, while the police is being militarized to keep unemployed, disgruntled minorities in check while government is keeping it's populace in constant fear of some boogieman enemy, getting away with murder somewhere else on the globe. Ever heard of H.L. Mencken? Look him up and see what he says about a corrupt government gone insane..

  4. adder2204 Strange. I've lived in Britain. Never once did I see Walmart there. Neither Asda sounds familiar. Shopped plenty at other supermarket chains, but never Asda.
