  3. Most of it. Remember when parts of the reason for invading Afghanistan was to rid the world of the heroin? Well, that didn't exactly happen. Instead, the opium production exploded under the new rule, and under protection of western soldiers. Got a friend of mine who was there. He could tell you some stories. This whole "war on drugs" is as legit as a campaign speech from a politician.

  4. @CMG Oh, I'm sure that you have all the insights.. So tell us how and why the opium production exploded under the Northern Alliance. If I am wrong, I suggest you play by your own rules and act civil instead of going personal, and put up some facts that refutes what you is just in my fantasies. Come up with some actual facts from legit, objective and unbias sources that all the heroin comes from China and not Afghanistan or get educated. Wanna "play nice", or doesn't that aply to any "libs" because you know so much better from your republican trenches?

  5. @CMG P.S. Taliban is still not eliminated. "Al-Qaeda" has suddenly switched their roles into "moderates" in Syria... And they seem to pop up anywhere in the world where USA needs a boogeyman. So why don't you tell me and my Afghanistan veteran mate that what he saw there was wrong? That no opium comes from Afghanistan and all comes from China and Mexico? Is Mexico a country known for its heroin production? Or China for that matter? Back up your claims or stop pretending.

  6. @CMG Oh, yes it was. The drug war is an all republican idea. They went after Taliban poppy fields specifically, and left the poppy fields alone. In the meantime, your own corrupt politicians have made a market for private prisons to fill your own citizens with everything from opiate addics (unless their name is Rush Limbaugh) while letting their own puppets in a foreign country grow as much as they need to fill the market with both legal and illegal drugs while stuffing their pockets. Don't hate me for pointing out facts. You see, I do research on these things. Hate yourself for making silly choices in life.. like voting for psycopath just because they fill your reptile brain with fear. Choose to vote them out. Choose people who represents you. Choose people who has taken consuence of your own words "drugs will always be around", and end this delusional notion that prohibition and prisons solves anything as long as banks and pharma companies get to run wild. If I were you, instead of going on a rant about how I as a leftist with "too much weed in my brain", and how I am wrong about everything, simply because I am not in "your" party of rich frat brats who fill their gills with over prized swill, and think that smoking a toke is bad for ya and needs to be criminalized, I suggest you take a long and hard look at your own representative and where he or she gets his or her checks from to run fear ads on TV from. I also suggest you take a long look at the history of prohibition, starting from England in the 1840s (where they banned gin, and fought for a monopoly of the opium market - creating a nation of drug addicts when they forced themselves on to the Chinese markets). What we have today, is merely a repetition of the social control practiced in England... back then, based on class... today, based on both race and class. Look up how Richard Nixon threw his own commissions' report in the garbage and started this endless war on drugs just because he wanted to demonize hippies, war protestors and minorities. Don't take my word for it, since you obviously don't trust anything that doesn't speak your tribal language of republican. Do your own research instead of spewing out blanket statements without merit "Mexico and China.....the liberals best friends." Show you can act like an adult.

And when you are being shown black on white how the war on drugs and the war in Afgfhanistan, the #1 opium producing country in the world have nothing to do with each other? Remember the drug war of the 80s, when Reagan all of a sudden showed the kids this new drug to stay away from after cocaine was flooding the streets of empoverished minority neighbourhoods? How was it brought there? Who brought it there?
