I have worked for more than half a dozen multinational companies the last 11 years, and in some places, even the middle management is in on it. The outsourcing company for HTC Mobiles in England for instance. Three weeks in there, I had problems sleeping, and had poor appetite. We used to toke up outside the pub together with managers and TLs across the street from work on Friday nights after work in Athens.  Pot culture is huge in the international IT environment. So the I find the whole notion that an employer takes a right to drug test their employees as if they were potential criminals.

  2. MrNateSPF It certainly is. I'm finally out of the rat race now after 10 years. Now, I'm working for myself, earning 4 times as much on half the time. Finding motivation to write the smear about the last 10 years, watching Office Space whenever I get a job opening that looks remotely tempting.
