If an IQ test was a litmus test, it would disqualify 90% of the republican voter base... A base whose portions are watching televangelists and send their social security check to them because Jesus promised prosperity if they give their government dole to some high wigged fat lady with too much makeup and think that baby Jesus hated refugees and loved capitalists.. Is it true that 60% of republicans believe in young earth creationism and think that fossil is a hoax from their bible god? Is it true that all republican voters believe in Reagan's trickle down economics and that tax cuts leads to more revenue for the people and the government that is supposed to represent them? Is it true that you believe that tax cuts for the rich magically will incentivise them to "create more jobs" while taking the food stamps from a single mother with 3 low paying jobs will make her work harder and make more money? Is it true that you believe that Mexican farm workers and refugees from Syria are the cause for all your problems and that white people have full dominion over the land to dictate life and death over the original owners of the land while you think you are entitled to build a wall to keep other brown people out? Is it true that you think that poor people are leeching off you and Wall Street bankers are successful patriots who deserved all the bailout money from Bush junior to get their bonuses before foreclosing homes? In what way is it freedom to let banks off the hook for laundering drug money while sending drug users in prison for many years....or how does that help the economy in any other way than lining private prison corps? So who are to determine who shall be allowed to vote or not? I mean, if you had to take a civics test as well as an IQ test, it would disqualify so many teabaggers, civil war reenactors and creationists who has gotten too much led in their drinking water with their head full of meth and oxycodone:-) The people should be able to vote in who they like and voter suppression donæt lead to any good... However, no matter who they elect, the rulers are not allowed to make laws that infringes on people's life, liberty and security. That means that the majority, no matter how their lynch mob mentality might be, they cannot make laws that aggressively targets vulnerable minorities. That's what a constitutional republic means. But today, USA is no longer a democratic republic. It's an oligarchy presently ran by a full blown Fascist with YUUGE mental issues. ... surrounding himself with swamp creatures nastier than the previous one on all levels.

The closest thing we've had to Communism in human history are the Native American tribes. Property as in a capitalist context was unknown. Nobody was homeless. Nobody was starving. And if you were cheap and didn't share, you were booted from the community. They had elections. Women had the right to vote. In fact, the Iroquois society was built around the Matriarchy. Something that was unheard of in "civilized", male dominated societies with a patriarchal religion poisoning everything which came to America and committed genocide after being bailed out the first winter (too busy digging after gold than learning how to grow crops native to the land) Today, RWers don't believe in community, but the notion that two hands can build empires even though, empires are built on the backs of the grunts who reaps little or no rewards compared their capitalist owners make. It's the people sitting on top, doing the least physical work who reaps the biggest rewards. And in the eye of a republican, a "job creator"... "It takes a village to raise a child" has become profanity in the ears of a RWer. Anyone ever read the fantasy book, the Bible, baby Jebus would make Marx look like an Ayn Rand fan in comparison. He didn't want anyone in his flock to own wealth. If you own more than you can carry with you, you risk becoming a slave of your possessions - shackled, and tied down, always worried about "my stuff"..
