  3. John Johnson Don't you have mandatory classes you have to pas to get a diploma anymore? When I went to high school in Kansas 25 years ago, I had to take English, Am. Pol. and Am History in order to graduate. The rest of the classes was free to choose.

  4. John Johnson Don't know. The only three subjects I had to take to get the diploma was the historical, literature, and propaganda part. Every other class was optional. So I thought that political indoctrination was still a part of the curriculum over there. I remember exposing the stunning ignorance of my history teacher who doubled as Basket Ball coach, and the slight Fascist tendencies of the Am. Pol. teacher who bragged about having a Nazi flag in his home, and told Norwegian jokes instead of Polish jokes in my "honor"...Their entire world was painted in "commie vs. capitalism" mindset. Our supply teacher in Physics was a Catholic priest... And there was twelve different church societies in a town that housed 2500 humanoids. Just a few fun facts about the school and town that rotted my brain for a year.

Leia Cohen Conservatives DOES call "all stinkin' Libs/Commies/Atheists/Pagans/Perverts/Socialists/Muslims etc..were Evil, nasty, Ingrates who know little to Nothing" all the time on the internet. Conservatives in deep red states don't think that Atheists should be allowed to run for office. Conservatives whine about freedom of religion, but wants to deny muslims build a prayer room on an airport or a culture center in NYC. Conservatives lump atheists and muslims together but would STILL choose to live under Sharia law because they realize that they have more in common with Taliban than with Carl Sagan and Einstein. What you conservatives seem to deliberatrely avoid to mention is that KKK were CONSERVATIVES. PArty lines is irrelevant when you look at their ACTUAL opinions. Conservatives avoid to mention the southern strategy where your democrats turned republican. That's why the SOUTH is a REPUBLICAN stronghold where the members of the KKK have turned Republican. They call themselves "Teapartiers" today, and think that white cops are always in their right when they kill an unarmed black kid. Did you see the signs made by the insane teabaggers who protested "Obamacare" and blamed him for the economic recession already in April 2009, forgetting all about Bush&Cheney?
