Statues of traitors matters. Black lives do not. We get it.

Free speech and protest is protected in the constitution. Driving a car is not. Free speech trumps traffic terrorists on wheels.

Europeans have stained the continent ever since Columbus set his stinking feet ashore on San Salvador in 1492...

In Germany, publicly displaying Nazi paraphernalia is illegal. In USA, celebrating slave owners and traitors seems to be the norm. Everything you have been taught at school in history has been a giant whitewash to hide the brutality of your colonist hordes and lazy gentry class of the deep South. To put things in perspective: What you call Thanksgiving, the native Americans call a day of mourning. What has been wrong the past century is how the sensitivities of white snowflake losers in the south and apologist fools has been pandered to for too long.

Consider the English Crown as nothing more than freeloading leeches. I call them the Welfare Queens of Buckingham. The entire wealth of the English monarchy rests on land theft, rape, murder, slavery and ethnic cleansing....Imposing English culture and "values" on the people they enslaved.

Did the statues hurt a lot when they crashed into the ground?

Saddam's statues were torn down in Iraq in 2003.

Yes it was. It was about the rights of lazy white people to keep and hold humans in bondage to enrichen themselves from. Slavery is about economics. It's about coercing others through force, using them as cheap labour so they don't have to do it themselves. Hence, the Civil War was about slavery. Economy for your new rich plantation owners today is to keep your salaries low, and make you powerless. Both as consumers, clients, customers and employees they will make you worship their "free market principles" while they have their demagogue puppets to throw you some bones by scapegoating "the other"...

I don't think that the democrats of 1859 would associate with any democrat today. Their ideological peers today seems to be republicans. Just in case you missed history class.

instantsiv7 The red Scare mixed with southern racism - meaning fake "patriotism" by southern racists. Since when have the constitution ever promoted any specific economic models? Where does the constitution promote Capitalism in specific terms? Where does the Constitution promote social Darwinism?
