  2. doodelay Those verses are irrelevant, null and void in peace time. Those verses were relevant in a war against specific people who actively fought him and his followers. The Q'uran also promotes peace and religious tolerance. It's just too sad that most people who think of themselves as "experts" on Islam don't know that, and pull out verses that has little to do with reality. I mean, do you think that Ferdinand and Isabelle secured the religious freedom of the remaining Jews and conversos after they kicked out the last Muslim ruler in 1492?

Nice2787 Sign #7 that you are a Christian fundie and a hypocrite: Your face turns purple when you hear of the "atrocities" attributed to Allah, but you don't even flinch when hearing about how God/Jehovah slaughtered all the male first-born babies of Egypt in "Exodus" and ordered the elimination of entire ethnic groups in "Joshua" – including women, children, and trees. Not to forget terrorist attacks in abortion clinics, hate crimes against LGBT community, illegal wars, colonization, pandering to brutal dictators, unleashing religious extremists, and wars that goes back to the Crusades in 1099. By attacking Islam, you are attacking the core mythology that Mohammed took his entire divine authority from: Christianity and Judaism.
