I presume someone who advises me to read a book have not studied older religions and myths than the bible. I once read in a book once that baby Jebus is the savior of the world, and the personal invisible friend of anyone who worships him and hates the same thing he does: Like feminism, atheism, socialism, cultural diversity and gay marriage.
I am sure you would know who Mithra was if you have followed your own advice in studying hard....I am sure Mithra had his fun without me having to read a lot of books about it.
I once read the Dead Sea Scroll Deception. And Holy Blood Holy Grail. I have also heard tales of Isa - a guru in Srinagar by Ahmadiyas in New Delhi at the age of 19 in India decades ago. Does that mean they are true? Or does this need to be put in book form by an authorised western author first to be deemed credible?
Do you really believe that the last supper tale is an original one, and that the 4 contradictory tales of baby Jebus which was canonized by a centralized Roman church with ties to Roman nobility is an original one?
If you have done a bit more than studying books, but also travelled to some places where the Christian cult had it's strongest roots - Rome itself, things will not be as the appear from a far.
Like the names of all the earliest popes, bishops and saints.
A large portion of the were Roman nobility. Some even associated with the Flavians. It struck me when I was at the Vatican, looking at all those Roman sounding names for alleged JEWISH church fathers.
Strange for a Jewish messianic sect to have a lot of ROMANS running their church, eh?
Other than that, one can talk about reading books, and Zeitgeist as much as one wants as if that changes anything.
In the meantime - look up the Flavian Dynasty.
