They also gladly lump us with "the other" despite the fact that they have a lot in common with each other than liberal atheists, deists and agnostics who fought for at least freedom from religion as well as of religion. What they have in common is if we all don't believe the same as them, we are all going to Hell for eternal damnation. It's the divine Justice for the Deadly Sin of Atheism and Liberalism. Some states in the bible belt (USA) don't even allow declared atheists to be voted into Office. Yet they are the ones touting freedom and "small government". I think we should put all the religious extremists on a deserted island with nothing of ecological value, and they could club each other to death wither their respective religious books. And since they still live in the Dark Ages, they should only be allowed weaponry used during biblical times. We can televize it. The last man standing will get a price. His religion would be the "only true" just to humor him. And then we put the bastard on a pedestal and shoot him in the fucking head! (I presume most religious fanatics with a fightin stamina would be male or something in that neighborhood.
