  7. When Taliban took over in the 90s, opium production dropped by 90%. After your "Coalition of the Willing" invaded the country based on false premises, production sky rocketed again. Western troops have protected both opium production and child molesting war lords just because they are allied. East India Company and HSBC was heavily involved in killing hundreds of thousands of Chinese to make them opium slaves. Back in England, drinking gin was a "moral scourge". It was cheap to produce, and the poor man's few choices of psycho active medicine. This was a market that the nobles could not squeeze anymore. Ad "Monopoly" as part of said explanation. In USA, cocaine was promoted as wonder drug for opiate addiction. Used and promoted by Freud 3 times a day, and 4 on Sundays. When an epidemic of cocaine addiction occurred, heroin was invented. Heroin is just another derivative of refined opium. It's a product name plane and simple. And meant as it was written. Heroin was considered a heroine at the time (early 1900's). Amphetamin has the same effect as cocaine. Used by soldiers from WW1 until the Vietnam war. However, drug use among soldiers in both Afghanistan and Iraq is rampant. Why? Self medication! The existence of crystal meth is only a consequence of the others being illegal. Same thing with Crocodil. You can chew coca leaves all day without taking harm. Crystal meth is what comes when Europeans corrupt a perfectly good plant, and then criminalizes it to go to war on the farmers where it originated while the crystal meth market flourishes.
