And I can blame the childhood Christianity imprinted in me from bible lessons in the 3rd grade, as if all my sense of justice stems from baby Jebus (a fictional character like the Last of the Mohikans) and not from something innate. Actions speaks louder than words and empty phrases. There are liberal Christians who live their lives after the message of tolerance, and there are the authoritarian Christians who likes to use Christianity to inflict pan and suffering on their fellow human beings. One doesn't have to believe in a vengeful bible god to practice the Sermon on the Mount. Unfortunately, most fundies of all stripes tend to take a piss at the message, obsess about the messenger and act like holier than thou pricks in quite inventive ways to destroys lives.
