Claiming that liberals argue from emotions and kneejerk reactions as if conservatives or "independents" have ever conjured up a rational argument based on reason, logic and science. If anything, it's the conservatives who argue from emotion knee jerk appeal to "tradition" and argue that progress is a threat to the RW conservative agenda. RWers have an aversion to FACTS and resort to lies and ad hominems to drown any rational argument from the other side. Conservatives have a tendency to ber bible wankers who argue from emotion , prejudices and "tradition". Liberals tend to be educated who argue from reason.

  2. robert Zoll Education leads to liberalism. No education tends to lead to religious zealots. Universities are places for ideas. Conservatism is a state of fear of anything that might threaten the status quo and indoctrination. Just look at Jesus Camp as an example. The most liberal states are also the states that have the highest intelligence and education. The most conservative states are the states where education takes a backseat to religion. On top of that, those are also coincidentally the dumbest states. And takes more govt. money than giving in.

  3. robert Zoll California, Minnesota, Oregon, are all dong a hell of a lot better than any red state in the union. If you want to look at states on the verge of bankruptcy, you better look at red states who cuts taxes for the rich, and takes away from schools, medicare, medicaid, unemploymence and food stamps. Examples: Florida, Kansas and Mississippi. Tell me about the world renowned educational centers and the vast contribution those red states are giving the union. Conservative Cities who claim they are hoty for Jesus is criminalizing poverty. Better luck coming up with a better lie the next time. Reaganomics and capitalism are failed ideologies.

  4. +robert Zoll Many of those free and successful countries built their fortune on colonialism and slavery. Capitalism is born out of slavery. Please donæt mix up free trade and Capitalism. Those are two different things. Capitalism is dependent on people having enough money to 'invest" which means having someone else making your fortune. Capitalism is driven by the notion of NOT having to work for your wealth, but having someone else do it for scraps. Very few Capitalists have ever built their fortune through hard work, and honest trade. Inventors and entrepreneurs are not necessarily capitalists. A capitalist is someone who gets his paycheck from derivatives and not from brain work, or manual labor.

Especially when capitalism imposes itself on the democratic institutions, corrupting it from the inside out. The real waste started with Reagan. And the financial cracks? Caused by Capitalism! Capitalism serves no other interest but self growth..at everybody else's expense. And it's mere goal is profit. Hence, Capitalism is a religion in which is corrupt in its core fundament. If you think that education and access to healthcare demoralises poor people, I wonder what demoralizes rich people and white privileged people like yourself. If you think that food stamps a hot meal at school, an education and proper healthcare for a kid who is poor is more demoralizing than a rich kid getting the same thing. And if you think those things created dependency, I am dying to know what your remedy for their misery is. Take all those things away? Why do you think that someone who lost their job to a Chinese sweatshop worker is a bigger drain on the economy than a rich class of corporate CEOs and bankers who come to your dole to be bailed out? If you were truly fiscally responsible you would take a long and hard look at the biggest straw of them all: The one that belongs to Pentagon. They take almost 60% of your federal taxes to keep dragging yet another generation into endless wars in countries USA should stay the fuck out of.

  7. +robert Zoll Capitalism leads to crony capitalism. It's in the nature of Capitalism. It's corrupt to the core. Capitalism is nothing more than another term for slavery and exploitation. And you keep voting for it as long as you vote republican. Why are you voting as if you belong to the 1% and have capital to gamble with while others are doing the work?
