  1. James Ritchie So the SNP is more social democratic than the old Labour then? Good. I'm always ware of "national" in any party name. Call me a cosmopolitan. I can only speak for Norway. I have lived and worked in Ireland, Northern Ireland and England the last 10 years. So far, I prefer the NHS version. For convenience, you are not billed for a doctors visit, and all meds are subsidised in UK. Which I find more convenient than they system we have in Norway. I cannot speak for other aspects of the systems. But at least you won't go broke if you get sick.
