  2. So where in did Jesus give you mandate to discriminate against LGBT people specifically? And how consistent are you regarding the other laws of your bible god? Do you allow your woman to speak in public? Does she tell you what to do?  Totally against the bible. Do you work on the Sabbath? Then your sin is far greater than any gay person whom you think should be discriminated against because they give you the willies.   5. Joseph Andrews Then I suggest you do. If you think that the western secular values are based on a book you have not read, I have this suggestion: Start READING the damn thing. Besides, your catholic heritage includes persecution of Jews. 1700 years of persecution. Neither Jesus, nor Genesis explicitly commands gays to be killed. But the spin has been "thou shall not lie with a man as one lies with a woman"...I guess just using boys and use them as jizz catchers without consent.  But this is neither the main focus of the bible in itself, or baby Jesus. There are a lot of other "sins" committed by the Holier than Thou crowd on a daily basis.

  6. Joseph Andrews Actually, the Q'uran takes most of its mythology and morals directly from the bible.  A small correction. The bible is inconsistent and contradictory. As far as the Q'uran goes, I'm sure there are acts and "sins" far graver in Islam as it is in Christianity.  The whole idea behind the Christian antisemitism lies behind the distortions by Paul. He practically made the New Testament anti-Jewish in many ways. He lay the seed for the later persecution of Jews in the Roman Empire when Christianity took hold. They were sort of tolerant at the beginning, but that didn't last long before the Jews had to take the blame for the Roman crucifixion of their precious Jesus. The Catholic Church romanized him. From 392 AD, Christians had effectively banned freedom of religion throughout the Roman Empire. Jews were hardly tolerated. And very soon persecuted.  It became worse later. If it wasn't for the Christian persecution of Jews (and 'heretics' in general), there would not have been a Holocaust.

And it appears that you cannot read since you didn't respond to my ACTUAL answer. And since you have not read either the bible, the Q'uran, nor Mein Kampf, I don't see any reason why we should have this discussion since you apparently are not equipped to bring anything of value to the subject.

You claim to stick up for individual rights, and think that Christians have a right to stick their noses in the private lives of gays.  And since you have never opened your book, and claim Christian heritage, I thought it would be a good idea to follow your own advice! Go back to class and educate yourself.  And I can discard your claims to morals, since you apparently take yours from a dogma you know squat about! And in your own words! CLASS DISMISSED!   10. Joseph Andrews Well, you're the one talking about "morals" as if government have any business in legislating morals which is based mostly on Christian ignorance and bigotry. If someone wants to wipe his arse with the bible, what business is that of yours? If two people wants to have sex with each other, what business is it of yours if those two people are of the same sex? So excuse me if I put you in the same bag as the religious loonies. I hope we have settled this now, and that you have gotten a bit smarter, a bit less bigoted, and less "moral" in this multiple conversation.

Do you get your morals from the tribal god that imposed 613 impossible, and insane rules on his "chosen people"? Who the hell are you to openly question the morality of other people. seeking to make laws that discriminates against them, and claim religious freedom?  Are any Christians allowed to make laws discriminating against others based on their cherry picking on what is moral and not? I think you should take a long hard look at your own holier than thou mentality and stop throwing rocks in glass houses.  Makes you look foolish and ignorant.  If you look at your deadly sins, you should rather look on your own future in the afterlife if you give a flying fuck about your own "salvation" rather than nosing in other people's private lives.

  21. Kamelhaj I agree. Mostly from Christian fundies who want to refuse equal religious rights to Muslims, Hindus, and other religions... Christians have been assaulting other religions ever since the sect gained political power, and used their new found religious freedom to deny others the same.

The only reason why you are  butthurt is that you can't discriminate agaisnt LGBT like you did African-Americans.  The only cult that has made it their agenda to make their religion the sole religion of 'USA are fundies like yourself. you thrive on bigotry, hatred, intolerance and and biblical hypocrisy. In order for you to actually be suppressed for your religion DO practise your Jesus faith in the first place. Right now, you are the exact opposite of what your precious Jesus stood for. If you practised your religion as directed, you would have no reason put your job at risk by acting like an asshole. If I started refusing people customer service when I worked in IT for religious reasons, I cannot expect to keep that job for long. Same goes for you. If you act like an asshole to customers, you will cost your boss money'!
