  1. Makes me think of a former colleague of mine from Israel when I worked for Norton in Athens, Greece. His military service was a non-combative one. He didn't agree to killing civilians or harass Palestinian families on the West Bank. As far as my knowledge of Talmudic Rabbinism goes, "the State of Israel" isn't even a thing. I know of Holocaust survivors who has been much harsher in their critique of Israel then Ihlan Omar's remarks about AIPAC - pointing to the corrupting influence money and selective outrage and bigotry has on politics. GOP proved her point when Democrats wanted to expand the bill to include all minority groups, and voted against it.. by complaining about how it was too extensive.. In other words, "patriotic" republicans wanted to slash the 1st Amendment and protect their sugar daddies while still being allowed to discriminate and trash talk all other groups.. Except AIPAC...
