  4.  @carterphelps3156  - It sounds like their mother was working almost all the time to keep a roof over their heads and the father wasn’t in the picture. I’ll be honest, I had my first boyfriend at 12. When you grow up in a home devoid of love and affection, being held and kissed by a boy is very powerful. It fills a “hole”. Of course it also leaves one open to being taken advantage of.

  6. Age discrimination in the job market is very real! I have a friend whose husband d was lId off from a major employer a few years ago. He has treated his job search like a full time job. He's sent out hundreds, if not a few thousand, resumes. He has gotten several interviews, a few second interviews but no job offers. He is almost 60. Theresa worked there for 27 years - She started 10 years before her son was born. She ad its she should have saved more. Those jobs like she had paid very well. So the lesson is, live below your means if possible and don't have kids unless and until you are financially secure.
