  1. I can’t imagine being adrift at sea for days, weeks even months. I had a history teacher in college who shipwrecked and drifted for 72 days before being rescued. His wife died just a short time after and his brother-in-law died shortly after being rescued. There is a book about his experience called “Lost!” by Thomas Thompson.
