It’s people like this that are going to cause retailers to stop taking returns so generously. What I don’t understand is: 1. Did the self serve kiosk not require them to enter the package into a drop? 2. Didn’t the return to the brick and mortar store require a receipt or order number?

I remember when a judge in Seattle hired a service to cut down a bunch of trees on city property to improve his view. He felt it was better to ask forgiveness than ask permission. I know he got fined but he still had his new view!

@Wolfe-xz6tr - Racist much?

Why are there so many angry drivers these days? That younger man is fortunate the older man wasn’t seriously injured or worse.

Waiting on the phone call…that is such a real thing. My ex sister-in-law was (is) an addict. It started around 1970. Whenever the phone rang, her mother would startle and literally jump out of her seat. The only time she could even somewhat relax was when her daughter was in treatment, the hospital or jail. The thing that most amazes me is, she is still alive. She is 71 but looks at least 15 years older. During her “fertile” years, she gave birth to six or seven children and didn’t raise one of them. She has left so much carnage behind her.

Sure, “injured in a fall”. That explains the stab wounds?

My heart goes out to you Eric and all of your family. It seems to me that if the ER would have actually kept Lexi there and run some tests, she might not have died.

Why are so many people so willing to pull a gun and start shooting? Ridiculous.

@JP-ml1xe - Don’t be obtuse.

@sandraconnelly7507 - Nope. The youngest is 25 and it appears they all attended Marysville High.

This is not about “criminals”. This is about too many stressed out, angry drivers who lack self control.

Yes,our plates are “public” in that anyone can see them but giving police the power to scan plates without cause is wrong.

At one time, this country locked up people with mental illness and kept them in the institution- sometimes for life. It was a horribly abused system and the patients were often abused. Then laws started to change, institutions were closed and we went to community oriented mental health services. Well, that system is totally underfunded and the pendulum has swung to far to the extreme of not committing people who really need to be. We really need to revisit the laws regarding institutionalization.

She may be living in her car. Walmart parking lots are one place she can park.

He doesn’t deserve bail.

Who pays to have all the neighbors’ vehicle, etc repaired?
1
What a waste. In addition to the lives he took, he has ruined his own life. He shouldn’t get bail. He has shown a pattern of reckless behavior and there is not guarantee he won’t get behind the wheel of a car while on bail.

Hey, just another day in gun loving USA. Good grief, who is raising all these juvenile delinquents? A 16 year old had just destroyed his life, his family’s lives and this poor young girl’s family
1
@EnlistedBombin - Yes, I realize that but it required they actually call in the plate or physically enter the plate. These new readers will be scanning plates automatically without cause. I see a lot of potential for abuse.
1
@EnlistedBombin - I agree. Anyone who thinks they can move through this country - or most anywhere - anonymously is kidding themselves.

BS to “compromise”. He’s a reckless, spoiled brat who commits crimes. He doesn’t get to compromise. I’m sick and tired of all these entitled young people who create havoc on our streets. Do a better job raising decent humans, parents.

Was there no alarm on the grow operation’s building? On a side note, I never thought I’d hear a news reporter say “…including 20,000 pre-rolled joints”.

George Orwell was prescient. There is no such thing as privacy anymore.

Forget the Keystone Cops - these guys are the Keystone Crooks.
