  1. Yes,our plates are “public” in that anyone can see them but giving police the power to scan plates without cause is wrong.

  2.  @EnlistedBombin  - Yes, I realize that but it required they actually call in the plate or physically enter the plate. These new readers will be scanning plates automatically without cause. I see a lot of potential for abuse.
