  3. It sad that most states don’t have rent control. Here in Oregon, landlords are only allowed to raise the rent each year by a set amount. Currently I believe it is 10%. Even that much, however, is difficult for many seniors. Greed is destroying this country. And, not to create an argument, but elections have consequences. The massive tax cuts for the wealthy back in the previous administration, were permanent where as the modest tax cuts for the working class were temporary and have already expired.
