  1. This "separated families" garbage is such an inane trope, I am ashamed that even one of my fellow Americans would ever be so dumb to not see right through it. Myself or any citizen who commits crimes will be separated from our families: this is what prisons and jails are. Being a non-citizen committing a crime does not exempt you from this, nor does bringing your child along while committing the crime. If I sneak my way into Joe Biden's bedroom at the White House, I am committing a crime, and will be separated from my family. I can't bring my child along with me or expect to be paid afterwards.
