  1. "We are just asking for a little documentation" is the salesman's pitch. I assume every person in that room is smart enough to read between the lines, especially after the first ~10 minutes that preceded it were a presentation on how Rust makes everything better is and is superior to C, in a room full of C devs who are likely sick of hearing the same pitch over and over.

  2.  @jfbeam  This confirms something that I had questioned, though I have never done any kernel/firmware development with Rust to know enough to make the claim. I don't even know how one would write "memory safe" code when interacting directly with hardware, though my experience is limited here.
