  1. I wouldn't even want Linux "pre-installed" on my system. It only takes me a few minutes to do, and I want it done my way. This is literally the reason I want Linux on my machine. Ideally it would be nice to purchase an "out of the box" machine with no OS installed on it whatsoever so that my money isn't funding Microsoft.
