  1. 15:25 Nonsense argument. This analogy is false and misleading on its face to even casual programmers who are even somewhat familiar with the topic. Replace "seat belts" with "roll-cage, 5 point harness, body armor, ballistic helmet rated for high-velocity rounds, and of course kneepads" and it might be getting somewhat closer to an honest cost/benefit analysis. Should we mandate helmets when driving cars? They would be safer, no? Dishonest and bad-faith arguments like this play a huge role in the negative reaction Rust often gets. This exact same tactic is used in politics, and no one likes politicians for a reason.
