  1. When I have to use a floating window DE, Plasma is definitely my choice over GNOME, but I am way to wed to tiling WM's as a part of my workflow to use it at this point. Muscle memory for my hotkeys is hella hard to overcome, and trying to recreate it in a floating DE feels like a cheap replacement.
