"What is the use-case?" is extremely disingenuous, and low-hanging fruit. Did you ask the same when Alacritty was released? At that time, other terminals like kitty were are already out, and had a larger feature set (still does). The same can be said for pretty much every piece of software in existence. I have yet to ever see this question asked in a genuine way, it is only ever used when someone wants to disparage a piece of software that they personally prefer an alternative to.
