@Daktyl198 Any and all code that gets contributed to the mainline kernel becomes part of that project, eternally and irrevocably licensed to the LF. I couldn't care less what their own fork is doing, those aren't contributions to the mainline kernel. It is literally and explicitly stated in plain English as part of the license, there are no "take backs", and they have no say on what happens with those contributions. They can be modified and distributed at-will by the LF according to the terms of the GPL.

@Daktyl198 Ah , I see, that is fair. I misunderstood and incorrectly assumed you were talking about kernel contributions, as Red Hat is also the top commercial contributor also.
