They are equally bad. Mozilla Foundation/Corporation is just as bad as Google, they simply don't have as much power to wield effectively, but not from lack of trying.

@dafunkmonster Both a razor blade and a sword can be equally sharp. One can do more damage. It is either disingenuous or extremely sad if you don't understand this.

@aaRept Censorship, privacy violations, a dishonest "non-profit" model between Mozilla Foundation and Mozilla Corporation, so that they pretend to be a non-proft, when they are anything but (let's not forget whom Google was paying in this scheme btw). As is said, its the same distasteful practices as Google, just on a smaller scale because they are a smaller company. Neither of these organizations have clean hands, so it is silly to use this as a determining factor when deciding between the Firefox/Chrome(-based) browser. There is no "principled" choice here, it is only "pick your poison".

@SergTTL Double-digit IQ if you don't understand. Behaving the exact same way, but being weaker and incapable of doing it as well does make something good. It is equally bad, just not as effective at doing it. A toy poodle can be equally as aggressive as rabid pit bull. Not sure which part of this concept is giving you difficulties, being weaker doesn't make it less aggressive. The point being that there is no "principled" reason to choose one over the other, use whatever you want, it is pick your poison, but let's not pretend there is any virtue in either of them.

@ZeerakImran As I stated, I understand that Google is the "worst" offender. The point is that switching for philosophical/ideological reasons is absurd, as they are the same. You are comparing who was worse: Ted Bundy or John Wayne Gacy, where they can be equally bad, regardless of whoever has a "higher count".
