There is no such thing as "the science". Science is the questioning, and the pursuit of truth, not the trusting. If you are following it, it isn't science, it is ideology. A few hundred years ago all the experts agreed that Earth was flat, and they were no less sure of "the science" as these experts today are.

if there is one universal truth that you can always rely upon, it is this: When MSM is getting more and more fervent in their denials and attack anyone who even hints at it, it just means you are over the target and what the truth actually is.
