  1.  @sashaellis5053  We have been amputating limbs from people that needed it for thousands of years. The difference is a life-threatening need, and the other is the naive "choice" of a child who has no clue. Anyone who is so willing to cave to the whims of a 7 year old should never be a parent, especially over such an extreme decision.
