  1. And they’re just wrong. The company doesn’t make money off of your labor. They make money off of a good or service that your labor contributed towards making, and notice I did not say that your labor made there, because your labor alone isn’t producing the revenue.

  5.  @SupaFlyJedi  and not just risk but also time value of money. $1m today is not worth risking into a business venture today that MIGHT return exactly $1m in ten years. Nor would most workers want to front capital today for that long just to get a wage only after product sells.

  9. It’s a fact that Venezuela failed because of socialism and not US sanctions. The failure predated the sanctions. And yes they did steal property to nationalize it.

  10. And the worker doesn’t produce anything on his own either, so that is irrelevant. Labor is valuable because it is valued by other people, same as with capital. Labor is not the sole source of value.
