Alexander Ilyas NIEMY [10Q2] these people were caught and detained in the Guangzhou waters, which is part of the mainland. There is no excuse.

to share No you are wrong. The Hong Kong Government has responded to their demands, just that the answer is not what they want so that’s why they said that the Hong Kong Government did not respond to their demands.

to share If you have basic understanding, lawyers cannot practice anywhere they want. They need to be approved first. Let me give you an example of the English Common Law scenario. A Barrister from London cannot practice in Australia nor Canada nor New Zealand even though their qualifications are recognised. They need to be called to the bar in these countries first before they can practise there. OK this scenario is not so glaring. Let me give you another example in the same context. A lawyer in the Country of Sarawak, Malaysia cannot practice law in Peninsular Malaysia without fist being called to the bar in the Peninsular Malaysia. Both are within the same country. I suppose the same law applies in Mainland China as they have been adopting and learning from the legal system from the British over the past few decades.

Cantaloupe Virus you see you need a pass to cross that border. Whether they have that pass on them or not I don’t know. I guess the most important thing is that these 12 people have been charged for crimes against the state in Hong Kong. They have been released on bail and are not allowed to leave the territory of Hong Kong. They left and were caught in the waters of Guangzhou.

Well they are twisting the facts. These people if they are really the family members of these 12 detained, they have been informed where and how to visit their detained family members. These detainees has already been assigned lawyers for their defense. It is KARMA for them, as they were protesting and rioting to stop the extradition law. Now if the extradition law is enacted then there would probably be a way to bring them back to Hong Kong. Since there is no extradition law, there is no legal way to bring them back to Hong Kong. So I would say these 12 people asked for it.

@ttsese are you sure ? https://youtu.be/qq8zFLIftG

@ttsese the Tiananmen massacre never happened, apparently those videos and photos that came out saying that it is from the Tiananmen protest was from another protest of the workers nearby. This was where the protesters also ambushed several police officers, killed them mutilated them and hanged them on the trees for display a day or so earlier. The shooting was a retaliation of those killings by those workers. These workers were also armed with knives and guns too shooting at the authorities at that time. The Western media lied and tried to use that to twist the story.
