The Diaoyu islands or the Shenkaku islands were forcibly taken by the Japanese and in the treaty of surrender by the Japanese, the Japanese are supposed to relinquish it’s claims on these islands and are to be given back to China. The USA took these islands and kept it in trust but instead of returning them to China as per the Surrender Treaty, the USA gave these islands back to Japan. If the Japanese are as honourable as they always portray themselves to be, then just give these islands back to China and there will be no more disputes there. It’s just that simple isn’t it ?

  8. @zaimun1666 distance is never a problem. Legally it is China’s island that has been decided in the Cairo Declaration back in 1940’s. If distance is a problem then can you explain how does the UK own the Falkland Islands ? Or how does the French own the Reunion Islands and so on ?

Niccolò No these islands in depicted by the 9 dash lines has been internationally recognised as part of Chinese Territory by all countries in the United Nations including the USA, Australia and Britain until recently when the USA needed to stir up an enemy so they made the ASEAN Countries dispute them.

  12. 김기정 IF the USA is not a big bully then these things will not arise. The Diaoyu island would have been returned to China and there would have been no dispute. The disputed islands in the South China Seas would have continued to be recognised as part of China’s territory and there would have been no dispute there.

Did you not know that Outer Mongolia was part of China until about 100 years ago where the Russians sponsored the Mongolian independence movement from China ? They succeeded partially because the other part of Mongolia did not want to gain independence from China. Luckily they didn’t as the people in Inner Mongolia is happier and is able to maintain their own culture and not only that, Inner Mongolia write with the Mongolian script whilst Outer Mongolia write with the cyclic script. Vladivostok was part of China and was carved out of Chinese territory when China was weak. China has no intention to get back Vladivostok as China has recognised this as part of Chinese territory. For your information, there is no such place as Easter Turkistan and no country or international organisations knows or or heard of this place. They do not have a government and has no territorial claim on any land. So we shall just ignore this. India’s expansionists policies has seen India illegally claim Arunalchal Pradesh, Ladakh, and many more territories from China. That was the main reason there was some skirmishes that happened on the Indian, Chinese border back in 2020. Your Government has told you a lie and the mass media has also kept repeating the lie that India’s cartographic aggression against China was the reason this fight broke out they only tell you that there was a fight and not tell you the reason why.

  21. Kool Aid No you are not that correct. Japan, Korea and the Philippines are colonies of the USA or Pseudo colonies of the USA. The Korean military reports to a US military General. Japan under the surrender treaty is not allowed to have their own military and is supposed to be run by the US Military. Philippines was a colony of the USA however even after they have got their independence from the USA, they still behave as though they are part of the USA. Well at least until the emergence of President Duterte. President Duterte is the real beginning of the independence of the Philippines.
