  5. The USA also have many of these boarding schools too. It is more horrific in the USA. The reason why I say that it is more horrific in the USA is because these Native American children were rounded up and put in these schools and given white Christian names. They were made to wear so called modern clothing and were beaten whenever they use their native languages. They were then made to be adopted by white families so as to civilize them. Can you imagine the Government taking your child away from you, change their identities and put them up for adoption when they were young? You are then never allowed to see them again ever ! ! !
