@amalianurlatifah8703 i think the main reason is because China and Russia are not bullies unlike the USA or Japan. They are merely saying if you keep doing this to us, we will do the same to you. You can clearly see the USA and Japanese Aggression against the Chinese and the Russians over the past few years right ?

@amalianurlatifah8703 disputes between ASEAN countries are not rare, they happen on a daily basis. just that the USA dominated media that you probably get is not highlighting these disputes. That’s why you seem to think that these disputes between China and her neighbours are really evil.

@amalianurlatifah8703 you must also know that this international arbitration that you refer to has no legal power. It is also set up by the CIA to hear a case brought by a NGO set up by the CIA to represent the Philippines, of which the people of the Philippines did not agree to. That is why we don’t have to look at that decision made by this tribunal. Even the International Court of Justice has distanced themselves from this judgement.

@amalianurlatifah8703 ooh by the way, the actual claim by China and previously known as the Republic of China was not the imaginary 9 dashed line, it was 11 dashed lines. Through negotiations, China has given up 2 of these lines to Vietnam. If you also do not know, China and ASEAN has already worked out a standard operating procedure on how to handle the sharing of resources between all the countries in ASEAN and China. Well that is in case your Government did not tell you about it.

@kamalabrahman6925 yes, and the Japanese army was extremely brutal to those who are ethnically Chinese in the ASEAN region. One theory suggest that these Japanese soldiers were from Taiwan and they have been brainwashed to believe that they are Japanese but they know that they are still Chinese inside. They just want to erase their history that they are ashamed of. That is why there were whole villages inhabited by people of Chinese decent in Malaya were totally eradicated and buried in mass graves, women and children included. The other theory is that the Japanese hated anyone who is ethnically Chinese because they have been trying to conquer a much weaker Neighbour China for the past few years but were not able to do so. This was very humiliating to the Japanese pride. The Japanese thought they could conquer the whole of China witching 6 months because at that time Japan was far superior to the Chines in terms of technology and weapons.

@amalianurlatifah8703 again it is not that ASEAN has experienced any constant harassment from one giant. This giant has always claimed these territorial waters together with the islands in them. ASEAN member countries did not dispute these claims until recently. The USA stirred up these claims by sending in NGO’s to represent each ASEAN country, to claim these islands from the giant after it was discovered that there is a Huge oil deposit underneath these waters. All this so that the USA can send in their companies to drill these oil resources and keep these ASEAN countries poor. China has agreed with these ASEAN countries on how to share these resources. This is totally not what the USA and the companies running the USA regime wants, that is why they still keep playing up this issue and do not allow the agreement between China and ASEAN to be made known. This way they can hope to be able to kick the Chinese out of the picture and have it all for themselves. Don’t play in to the hands of these greedy corporations of the USA.

@hiyukelavie2396 this international court is a tribunal set up by the CIA to hear cases brought by NGO’s set up by the CIA to represent ASEAN countries to dispute the claims of territorial waters and islands within them by China. These islands that the USA helped China to regain after the WWII, the USA also helped China protect as Chinese territorial waters until it was discovered that there is a huge oil reserve sitting underneath the seabed. That is when the USA and their NGO’s start to take action and poke ASEAN countries to claim these waters. The USA also use a piece of international law that the USA do not recognise and that is the UNCLOS.
