Sorry nobody recognised Taiwan as a country. All countries around the world & all international organisations recogises Taiwan as a part of China. Only 13 small countries representing 0.4% of the world population recognises the Government in Taipei as the legitimate Government of China.

@ck-dl4to Which part of the One China policy does it not state that Taiwan is not a part of China? The One China policy is to recognise that there is only one China in the world regardless whether you recognises the People's Republic of China or the Republic of China. Both Republic of China and the People's Republic of China recognises Taiwan is one of their Province, only that the Republic of China has its seat of power on Taiwan island. So maybe you (@ck-dl4to) should be the one who should stop spreading lies and splitting hair and come back to reality.

@reneechen7914 I guess you know nothing that is happening in Hong Kong at the moment. Maybe you should go and understand what is happening in Hong Kong first before commenting about Hong Kong. Hong Kong is now doing so much better than last time, their productivity has increased, their exports has increase albeit not directly from Hong Kong but via their twin port in the Greater Bay Area. The Riots in 2018 has been proven to be heavily funded and directed by the US Government through their NGO's inside Hong Kong. These NGO's has been directing the narrative that you have been saying to instigate the riots. The DPP Government from Taiwan also took advantage of this by also channeling hundreds of millions in to Hong Kong in support of the rioters and to make them change the story on what was really happening in Hong Kong. That was how English Tsai was re-elected without spending these millions the DPP Government would not be able to retain English Tsai in her seat.

@sombie3273 can you honestly answer me what is the benefit for Taiwanese Independence ? So far I see Zero benefits of Taiwanese Independence, it is Geopolitically bad for ASEAN too. However I see a long list of benefits for the people in Taiwan, Mainland and ASEAN for a much better future with a reunification of Taiwan to the mainland.

@hotszshaneho314 LOL I don't live in the West like the USA or Europe I have nothing to fear as I have my freedom of speech and human rights. Hopefully one day Freedom and Human Rights will be available in the USA soon. I'm not a Chinese citizen, though I travel to Mainland China very often. I see that there is a lot more freedom and human rights in Mainland China than where I live. Ironically even when I compare Mainland China with Taiwan, I still feel that there is a lot more freedom on the Mainland than in Taiwan. That's why I don't buy the narrative that Western lead media is trying to sell to me. If you don't believe me go to Mainland China and experience it for yourself. Yes, they may be run by a Communist Party. However when you look at what they are doing for the people and what they are giving the people you will want that instead. Unfortunately the System practiced in Mainland China will not work anywhere else in this world. That's why they do not show people what the system is like there in China.
