  1. The USA military base in the Philippines will only bring us closer to war with the biggest trading partner of the Philippines. This military presence is also detrimental to the Filipino economy as it will reduce the trade activities with China and these reduced activities and infrastructures is what the USA will not fill, thus making is a double whammy for the Filipino people and economy.

  3. Yes, only the people in the Philippines and China will loose not the US people. The US military Industrial Complex will have a field day earning Billions if the US manage to provoke a war in the South China Seas.
