A beautiful story and it is true. When will the Chinese people in Taiwan have the same feelings about their homeland and wish to return ?
9
Hopefully one day Taiwan will be free from US colonisation soon.

1. The Constitution practiced in Taiwan states that Taiwan is a part of a country known as China. 2. All countries around the world treat Taiwan as a part of China. 3. All international organisations treat Taiwan as a part of China. 4. The Government in Taipei officially States that they are a part of China. How then is Taiwan it's own country ?
4
好,台湾人也是中国人啊。
4
Taiwanese language is just a different mix mash of Hokkien spoken on Mainland province of Fujian, mandarin & Hakka this is due to the inter-mingling of the people in the same area.

@user-ci4ri3el3c Correction ! ! the PLA respects the autonomy that is being promised to Taiwan Province. If the USA and other foreign powers want to take Taiwan away from China the PLA will Strike without hesitation to defend China's sovereignty.
2
@user-ci4ri3el3c Strange quoter you have here "@user-rj2um3yj3s Taiwan love all its friends in the world...Except for China!" How can they love all their friends in the world but themselves ? This is very self defeating and is very bad if Taiwan is an individual. Totally no self respect.
2
@RodrigoPalma700 1. Hong Kong has enjoyed more freedom and autonomy over the past 25 years than the previous 150 years. 2. Hong Kong has just tasted Democracy for the first time in 1997 and the democracy in Hong Kong is still developing and finding its own levels of equilibrium. 3. since the implementation of the National Security laws in Hong Kong over the last 2 years. Hong Kong is now more free as Theo world has witness the voluntary exit of more than 30 international organisations from Hong Kong where the main purpose of these organisations is to create disruption and fund separatist movements in Hong Kong. Unlike India, India passed a law and arrested the people who were active in these same organisations created to break India apart from within. 4. Hong Kong now has law makers who will swear allegiance to the country and not swear allegiance to countries like USA, UK and Australia and Openly express their ambition to break Hong Kong away from China. Tell me if that is better or not ?
2
@user-ci4ri3el3c once you have seen what is happening on the mainland and also in Hong Kong and Macau then you will know that Taiwan is way behind these territories of China. It will never be a downgrade if you are not even as good as them in the first place.
2
@mincastsssj9458 大多數新加坡人是華人。不是中國公民。
2
It is very unfortunate that the people that the Taiwanese get to vote for must first be approved by Washington or the CIA. They then control the decisions made for the people on Taiwan. Go check out the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) for more information.
1
@sleepokay Yes, names do change over time but the Republic of China is still being used and has not yet changed. Looking forward for it to be changed to People’s Republic of China then there will be peace.
1
@JackC-e6i Correction, the People’s Republic of China has superseded the Republic of China. All citizens of the Republic of China are automatically citizens of the People’s Republic of China and vice-Verssa.
1
@mmfong297 Do you know that there are more different political parties in the Mainland than there are in Taiwan ? Do you also know that the leaders on the Mainland are all elected via an election process ? Please go do some research and find out more.
1
@JackC-e6i I think you need to go visit the cities and countrysides in Mainland China then you will know that if Taiwan were officially unifies with the Mainland then the quality of life and the lifestyle of the Taiwanese people will be much better. I have just visited both Taipei and Guangzhou over the last few months and I can see the big difference it is so much better on the other side.
1
@JackC-e6i The aboriginal people on Taiwan migrated to the island from South West China so they are also considered Mainlanders as well. Please go learn your history and stop showing your ignorance.
1
@JackC-e6i Please open your map of Korea, is not South Korea a part of the same Peninsular attached to the mainland ? If so does it not make them a part of the mainland ? You are blinded by your hate and no longer see logic I pity you.
1
@JackC-e6i LOL you are so blind, so blind beyond help. Don't bother going to the mainland to have a look and see how good life there is. Taiwanese have no freedom. Taiwanese have no democracy. Taiwanese are not happy with their lives there. Why ? 1. The Taiwanese income is so low they cannot afford housing. The income in Chinese cities are higher than that in Taiwan at the same time the cost of living is lower than in Taiwan. 2. Cost of housing is a lot more affordable on the mainland whilst it is too far out of reach by Taiwanese youths. 3. Taiwanese media do not show facts and do not show the truth it is controlled by US foreign agents pushing US agenda. Whilst media in China though has censorship but it is not as controlled as in Taiwan. 4. The politics in Taiwan is controlled by the CIA and its subsidiaries and nobody can go in to politics without CIA approval. On the mainland you need to qualify by being the top student in your University then you can start by serving the people at the lowest level and if they like you, you will then be eligible for elections. 5. If you go to the markets and the supermarkets in the mainland you have a wide variety to choose from at affordable prices whilst the choices of food in Taiwan is very limited and is not really that affordable compared to the mainland. 6. You have no ability to speak up about the true history of Taiwan and her people or you will be put in jail. You can only agree with the CIA controlled narrative. What kind of freedom is this ?
1
@JackC-e6i @JackC-e6i Very simple is there any country in this world that recognises Taiwan as a country ? None. You have been very brainwashed beyond repair.
1
@DarrenTAFer The Hongkies who has moved to UK are being persecuted and face intense racial discrimination. They are being bled dry of their money as this was one of the plans for them to come to the UK and help revive our economy.
1
@RodrigoPalma700 Prove me wrong and show me the facts not propaganda.
1
@DarrenTAFer Yeah keep making stuff up ok. I only show facts.
1
@RodringoPalma700 if you say that I am a liar prove it that I am a liar don't just accuse me with empty words. Otherwise you are not worth your grain in salt.
1
@JackC-e6i So you cannot give any evidence that I am a liar as I have shown facts but you insists that I am either a liar or delusional. Such pitiful bot you are.
1
The PRC is the legal owner of Taiwan and this is recognised by the United Nations and all the countries around the world. There is no dispute on this fact.
1
@JackC-e6i Taiwanese don’t care what is going on in the Mainland is true but that is because they have been brainwashed from young that China is poor, bad, dangerous, dirty and backward with no freedom and no religion. However all these are nothing but lies.
1
@Martytw1 Taiwan belong to China regardless of Republic of China or People’s Republic of China. However 99.5% of the world population recognises the Government of The People’s Republic China as the legitimate Government of the whole of China.
1
@vietnguyen4312 Please refer to the surrender documents signed by the Japanese and the Allies for WWII, Please also refer to the Postdam Declaration and the Cairo Declaration about Taiwan. Then you will know that Taiwan was returned back to China at that time known as the Republic of China, subsequently Republic of China was superseded by the People’s Republic of China.
1
@vietnguyen4312 Please refer to the United Nations Resolution 2758 that states Inter Alia that Taiwan is an inalienable part of China represented by the People’s Republic of China.
1
@DarrenTAFer PRC is currently ruling Taiwan as Taiwan is a part of the PRC. It just happen to have a different Government on the island what's the big deal it's the same country. Look at your country the BJP doesn't rule in all the States in India some of the states are ruled by different parties does that make these states different countries ?
1
@DarrenTAFer Taiwan is a part of the People's Republic of China under the One Country Two System, it has effectively reunified with the mainland already. Just not officially yet.
1
@JackC-e6i very simple because Japan is not part of China. Legally Japan is not part of China. Whereas legally and Constitutionally Taiwan is a part of China and this is what the whole world see and recognise. That is why and how Taiwan is a a part of China.
1
@JackC-e6i Taiwan is effectively ruled by the PRC because under the One Country Two System Taiwan will get to choose their own Government, they will get to make their own laws and administer themselves but they are still a part of China. The only thing that has yet to happen is that : 1. The Taiwanese army will have to report to the PLA. 2. The Taiwanese Provincial Leader will have to report his or her Work Report to the Assembly of the People annually. Once these two things are done then they just need to announce that Taiwan has officially been reunified with the rest of the country. Nothing needs to change. I'm sure that with that the lives of the people of Taiwan will be much much better and they do not have to suffer so much under US Rule.
1
@JackC-e6i Yes, if you are saying someone is walking around and claiming random strangers to be their spouse is very sad. However Legal documents around the world and within China regardless of Republic of China or People's Republic of China also states that Taiwan is a part of China. No country nor international organisations around the world dispute this fact.
1
@JackC-e6i Taiwan is effectively ruled by the PRC just like how Hong Kong or Macau is. All decisions are made locally by their own legislative body. Unfortunately this legislative body in Taiwan has submitted to the control of the CIA and all the media in Taiwan is also controlled by the CIA that's the independence we are hoping Taiwanese people will push for. So you are trying to be Mehdi Hasan by learning to twist and put words in my mouth ? NOT SO EASY
1
@vietnguyen4312 UN Resolution 2758 recognises that there is only 1 China and that Taiwan is an inseparable part of China. Postdam Declaration states that the Island of Taiwan and its surrounding islands under the purview of Taiwan will be returned to China. Cairo Declaration states that Taiwan will be returned to China. These are the basic 3 International Treaties that states Taiwan is a part of China. Now it is your turn to show your lies are not just lies.
1
What benefits does Taiwanese have for being an independent country as compared to being part of China as what the whole world see and recognise ? I see that Taiwan being an independent country only have negative effects and is totally against the interest of the Taiwanese people. If anyone can see positive effects of Taiwan being independent please share.
1
@johnramirz1564 Well the last time I checked Taiwan is still a part of China. It's what they said in their Constitution. All countries around the world also recognise Taiwan to be a part of China including countries like USA, UK, France, India and so on. If you say that Taiwan is an independent nation please show evidence.
1
@DarrenTAFer There seem to be problems with your statement. Here are the problems: 1. The people on Mainland China has the right to determine and dictate decisions made for them and it is a lot more transparent as compared to what is happening in Taiwan. What makes you think that Taiwan will no longer be able to make such decisions after reunification ? 2. Every level of officials, administrators and Ministers in Mainland China is elected by the people. What makes you think that this will be destroyed when Taiwan is reunified with the mainland ? 3. Do you have any evidence that the mainland does not follow the rule of law. Do share your evidence as from what I see they do follow the rules of law however like any country around the world there will always be a few bad apples. Do share if you have any evidence that China do not follow the rile of law.

Vietnamese & Cantonese sounds almost the same. Those who tried to prove it is a different language tried by comparing different words of the same meaning to show that Vietnamese is nothing like Cantonese. Vietnamese culture is almost identical to mainstream Chinese culture with a slight variation. Just like Chinese culture practised in Shanghai is slightly different from that practise in Guangzhou or Beijing in the north. So to me I think it is all the same.
1
Those people who says Taiwan is a country are Stupid, ignorant & brainwashed 😅😂
1
7:19 How did China reneged on their promises to Hong Kong ? Has there been any evidence of this by the Chinese Mainland Government ?
1
@user-ci4ri3el3c The official name of your so called country called Taiwan is the Republic of China. The Constitution of the Republic of China was enacted in 1947 when they inherited the whole country after the fall of the Qing Dynasty. Article 4 of the Constitution of the Republic of China defines the territory of the Republic of China as the existing national boundaries which has been defined by the Qing Dynasty. This definition has not yet been changed. So please do not show your ignorance and stupidity to propagate lies and narrative spread by Western Media lead people to think that Taiwan is a country and that it not part of China.
1
@user-ci4ri3el3c Yes, Taiwanese are definitely capable of steering their own future, who says they cannot ? Just that the whole world look at Taiwan as a part of China and is not a country. If a Taiwanese get in to trouble anywhere around the world and they get deported they will be sent to Beijing. If the Taiwanese Government want to get their citizens back for repatriation. These people will be sent to Beijing. If a Taiwanese who is in trouble overseas and they need help. Their only consulate to seek refuge and help is that of the People's Republic of China. Go figure.
1
@user-ci4ri3el3c What do you mean with "@LoC28C "who says they cannot" - you did with your pro-ccp comments"
1
@ridingincircles Question 1 : What is the territory of the Republic of China ? Question 2 : What is the territory of the People's Republic of China ? Then compare these area and tell me the difference.
1
@ridingincircles No response to my Questions or you are admitting your ignorance ? "@ridingincircles Question 1 : What is the territory of the Republic of China ? Question 2 : What is the territory of the People's Republic of China ? Then compare these area and tell me the difference."
1
@user-ci4ri3el3c Yes, Taiwan NEED other countries to confirm and recognise them as a country otherwise it will have no sovereignty and nobody will treat Taiwan as such. All countries around the world treat Taiwan as a part of China and there is no country or international organisation in this world that recognise a country called Taiwan.
1
@user-ci4ri3el3c So I see your choice is to remain ignorant and Stupid, but I will still disrespect your choice by letting you know this : Territory of People's Republic of China = China mainland (Including Xinjiang, Tibet, Aksai China and Ladakh) + Hong Kong + Macao + Taiwan + 10 dashed lines on South China Sea Territory of Republic of China = China = China mainland (Including Xinjiang, Tibet, Aksai China and Ladakh) + Hong Kong + Macao + Taiwan + 11 dashed line of South China Sea + Mongolia + Vladivostok and more.
1
@user-ci4ri3e3c Don't lie ! ! ! the CCP NEVER SAID that the WHOLE WORLD BELONG TO THE CCP
