Thank you WION for showing that the Sinovac is more efficacious than it has been reported. These are very encouraging figures. Indonesia has 190,000 medical workers being vaccinated with Sinovac only 5,000 got a breakthrough infection meaning the efficacy rate should be about 97.5% against Covid-19. Out of this only 20 died that means that the Sinovac is 99.98% effective against death. Bear in mind as of 20th June 2021 the total Indonesians that has been vaccinated is around 10% therefore continued spread of the virus at the moment is still expected. Seychelles has 60% of it’s population being vaccinated. Yes, there is a rise in the infection of the population there. WION should also add in to it’s report that out of those who were infected 70% of them were NOT Vaccinated. The remaining 30% who were vaccinated only had 1 shot of the vaccine and none of them required any hospitalisation.

@DK-ij4qt LOL there is a report by NY Times that there has been over 1,000 people who died of covid-19 in the USA even after getting 2 shots of the Pfizer Vaccine. This is what they call vaccine breakthrough. So no, not all vaccines have 100% guarantee.
