  1. I agree with you on this but it is against international law and China always advocate international law set by the United Nations unlike the USA which advocate the Rules Based International Order where rules are set by the USA whenever it suites them.

  2. ⁠@mudshovel289 slightly different, Tibet and Xinjiang was conquered but they are allowed to exist and co-exist with other ethnic groups and they are allowed to maintain their own cultures, language and identity. Whilst the Hawaiians and native Americans faced genocidal extermination and now there is almost no trace of their heritage, culture and language left. Yes, they are given American citizenship but compared to the Tibetans and other ethnic groups in China the Hawaiians do not have as much rights and do not live with dignity like in China.

  3. ⁠@mudshovel289 what you said requires a lot of mental gymnastics to understand. After being a part of China for a few centuries at the end of a political era should Xinjiang and Mongolia automatically become a new country on their own just because the political party ruling the country is now different ? Wow you are amazing and you should get a top paying job at the CIA or one of their subsidiary organizations like National Endowment for Democracy or something.

  4. @mudshovel289 you are correct Xinjiang never conquered the Qing Dynasty. However the Qing Dynasty ruled by Manchurians didn't conquer Xinjiang too. The Manchurians conquered the Ming Dynasty hence inherited the whole land and all its people when they did. This also include Xinjiang and Tibet too.

  5. ⁠@mudshovel289 no China did not do what the Europeans did. The Europeans conquered these lands and people whilst China was conquered by these people and were absorbed in to Chinese culture and they the conquerors became Chinese some are even considered Hans now.

Hong Kong was stolen by the British and now they are returned back to China how is my logic giving a reason to state Hong Kong should be given back to Britain ? Where is Britain and where is Hong Kong? Please don’t show your ignorance and try to get paid for it here.
