It doesn’t matter what you say but the civil war has not ended as there has been no surrender nor peace treaty signed, just the mighty USA standing in between to prevent the fighting for the time being. Taiwan has no sovereignty and therefore cannot be regarded as a country. The whole world recognise Taiwan as a part of China and under the One Country Two System, Taiwan is allowed to elect their on leader. The current useless Taiwan leader who do not care about the Taiwan people is Tsai Ing-wen.

@byram101 sure the Taiwanese Government will be remembered for refusing to order the BioNTech vaccine from the regional distributor at the cost of Taiwanese Lives. A Government who clearly do not care about the lives of the people but more on the politics ! ! !

@shabitaple on the note of the social credit score and mass censorship, the Taiwanese social credit score and mass censorship is not doing the Taiwanese people any favours too. The other country infamous for this mass censorship and social credit score is the USA. The biggest problem with the social credit scores in countries like the USA, UK and Australia which I am more familiar with is that you cannot really fix it, and certain parts of their social credit score is based on your race and ethnicity too. Therefore there is no way you can get out of a bad social credit score that you are born in to.

@byram101 ha ha ha ha when the 3 US Senators specifically flew to Taiwan just to spite China they didn’t bring any vaccines. After so much begging from Taiwan the US only gave so little? What kind of sincerity is it ? The USA was also very insincere to Trinidad & Tobago too by just donating 80 vials of vaccine to the country.

@byram101 thanks for the article from MSN news about the Indonesians getting infected with Covid-19 after being vaccinated with the Sinovac vaccine. If you read the article then you will know that only 7% of the people got infected with the Delta variant from India. It didn’t say that any of them were hospitalised for it and it didn’t say that any of them died from covid after they were vaccinated. Majority of them are healthcare workers who are in the higher risk category. Just like the data from Brazil where it was only 50% effective on healthcare workers after the first shot. This article says that there are at least 7,000 people in the USA fully vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine has been infected and are seriously ill. These are not necessarily healthcare workers too unlike in Indonesia. @vietnguyen4312 you are partially correct. Taiwan is completely independent from the Mainland and that is correct, that is how the One Country Two System works. The One Country Two System is for Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. Therefore the Provincial Chief Executive of Taiwan who prefers to be called the Taiwanese President for egocentric purposes should consider having more dialogues with the Mainland.
