@boxing.ascetic China is maintaining a non-interference policy with Myanmar that’s why China’s reaction is different from that of the west. I seriously believe this coup in Myanmar is sponsored by the CIA as it is a way to contain China’s friendship development with Myanmar. This also allows that USA to come in to Myanmar to build a port there in the Northern Rakhine State which China is currently doing. This too will weaken the Myanmar economy so that the US big corporates can go in cheap to extract the new oil resources that has recently been found in Northern Rakhine State.

@HLA-t8z like you said this confrontation you are suggesting that China do will not resolve the situation. The only way to resolve this situation is through dialogue. This is currently being lead by Indonesia and China as an outsider in ASEAN has decided to stay on the sidelines and as Wang Yi has said, will support these dialogues and no matter what happens will continue to support Myanmar and it’s people as a good Neighbour. This I believe will resolve the problems at hand not confrontation.

@HLA-t8z Indonesia is already doing a wonderful job in this. China said that they will support these efforts and let ASEAN deal with it internally. China is still maintaining a non-intefererance approach. Let this take its course and if you are on the ground in Myanmar try to convince those protesting not to fall for the CIA trap to insight violence. Myanmar is a Buddhist country, majority of the people are Buddhists they will understand what to do and do not fall prey to what the CIA is doing stop provoking the military and you will win.
