I hardly call that man who was shot by the Hong Kong Police unarmed as he was armed with a long iron rod and his friend with him was armed with a hammer, another of his friend was also armed with a petrol bomb and another with a crowbar and another with an industrial iron cutter. In the US they would have been killed by the police much earlier.
